The empty chair represented the 20 deceased classmates and the others who could not attend for various reasons.
The big 50 was used to represent our 50 year reunion. It was part of the County’s 150 year celebration from the previous year.

2025 Reunion Gathering of the PHS Class of 1974
The Petrolia HS Class of 1974 will meet for a Casual Reunion on Saturday, September 21, 2025 during the Clay County Pioneer Reunion.
Please meet after the parade (which starts at 10 a.m.) near the bandstand on the southeast side of the Courthouse approximately around 11:15 a.m. to visit and listen to the music.
For those who desire to eat meals, food is available on the Pioneer Rodeo grounds or various eating places. We will visit near the bandstand until about 3 p.m.!
